The health community is often made up of people who are focused on making themselves feel better. They are often not aware of the inner work they’re putting in. There is a lot of talk about exercise, diet, and relaxation, but so much of their conversation is centered on how to make the body feel better.
If you’re like me and you’re trying to be aware of your own health, then you’re probably not doing much of anything else. One of the best ways to be aware of your own health is to keep a journal. The more you journal about your life, the more you’ll come to realize that all the little things you do everyday are the key to your health.
One of the most common misconceptions I see when it comes to self-awareness is that it requires taking time out of your day to record thoughts and feelings. It doesnt. Most of the time, we simply have to remind ourselves that we are a living thing with lots of thoughts and feelings. In other words, it takes practice. If you can’t stay present, youll forget what youre trying to remember. So journaling is a great way to be aware.
I would recommend journaling for two reasons. First, it helps you to be aware of yourself. If you can’t seem to feel your body and what is going on with it, you’re likely not in the state you should be. Second, journaling helps you to be aware of what is going on around you. For example, if you’re talking on the phone and you get interrupted by a loud noise, you’ll notice that you didnt record that conversation.
It’s a good idea to write down what youre doing and why youre doing it. This is because the unconscious mind is most likely a little more complex than the conscious mind. If you’re not mindful of your thoughts, you’re probably not in the state you should be in.
When it comes to the conscious brain, our mind knows what we want, and it sets us up for success. If you want to get from point A to point B, your conscious brain makes that happen. The unconscious part of our mind, however, is not so clear. It does what it wants, and it may not be what you want in the first place.
The unconscious mind is a tricky area of consciousness. Its job is to help us carry out the things that we want to do, but its brain also has a tendency to shut down, and if we’re not aware of this, we can wind up doing things that cause us to fall through the cracks. When you think about how you may have done things that caused you to fall through the cracks, you may not have been mindful of your conscious side of the equation.
This is the brain’s way of saying no, and when you are in a situation that is both challenging and unpleasant, you just don’t want to go through all the motions of getting yourself to the point that you may have fallen through the cracks. It’s like the saying, “No pain, no gain.
One of the things that makes me hate myself as a person is not being able to think of the positive things I like in my life. I hate feeling like I cant go out and do fun things that I enjoy because my brain says no. When I get into a bad mood, it is probably because there are things happening in my life (or in my mind) that I dont like.
